Kreissig is COSMO BROWN in Detmold
At present, Thorsten Kreissig performs one of his favorite parts in Detmold, a small town in the north of Germany: COSMO BROWN is a pianist and entertainer in this stage version of MGMs famous movie „Singin in the Rain“. The character was created by Donald O'Connor, and it is Kreissigs second production of "Singin" after the Städtebundtheater Hof in 2001. (Dates)

Kreissig returns to the stage after his employment as projekt-manager and director for the videos of the Cranko jubilee "Cranko moves Stuttgart" with Stuttgart Ballet in 2007. (Dance the Cranko)
The FUNTOM is back
On may 1st Kreissig will revive his solo-musical-comedy „The Funtom of the Opera“ in an updated version. With excerpts of Funtom, Kreissig gained the 1st prize in Europes most prestigious singin competition for Musical Comedy in Berlin: "Bundesgesangswettbewerb Musical- und Chanson".

DIRECTION of Rossinis "L'Italiana in Algeri" in Bad Wildbad
Kreissigs will also continue his long-term cooperation with the prestigious Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad this year by directing Rossinis first full length buffa „The italian in Algiers“.
Performances only on Fr 11., Wed16. und Fr, 18. July at 7.40 p.m. at the Kurhaus in Bad Wildbad (Black forrest).
